This role is particularly suited for candidates coming from a Contract Logistics / 3PL background with hands on experience in warehouse design, solution development, and operational engineering. You will work closely with potential customers and commercial teams to translate requirements into robust technical and commercial solutions.You will collaborate with internal teams and 3PL partners to translate customer requirements into operational solutions and participate in implementation, testing, and ramp-up activities. In addition, you will support continuous improvement initiatives across forward and reverse logistics, driving efficiency, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.1\. Customer-Focused Solution Design
Support the collection and analysis of customer requirements—particularly for new or potential business engagements—to design practical and innovative warehouse and transportation solutions. You will support business development by preparing tailored proposals, including warehouse layouts, storage concepts, process flows, resource and capacity models, and costing. These will form complete end to end logistics solutions that match customer needs and our operational capabilities.2\. Project Coordination & Stakeholder Alignment
Contribute to feasibility assessments and implementation activities, collaborating with internal teams, 3PL partners, and customers, as well as ensure technical alignment with IT Systems teams, commercial leads, internal and external partners during solution design and execution.3\. Process Improvement & Optimization
Identify bottlenecks and support initiatives to improve workflows, reduce costs, and enhance productivity across logistics operations.4\. Lean & Continuous Improvement Support
Participate in Lean initiatives (e.g., Kaizen, Value Stream Analysis) , 5 S and contribute to operational excellence at the Luxembourg Hub.5\. Data Analysis & Solution Support
Use analytical tools to monitor performance, quantify risks or opportunities, and support decision-making. Conduct scenario modelling, productivity simulations, and cost to serve analysis for both new business and existing operations.## Who you areWarehouse Operations & Process Engineering
- Understanding of inbound/outbound flows, layout principles and storage solutions, inventory processes, and reverse logistics. Includes expertise in transportation planning and network optimization, covering route design, carrier selection, and coordination of goods movement across the logistics hub and spoke network. Experience in Contract Logistics / 3PL environments, including solution design for RFPs, or new customer implementations.
- Ability to interpret operational data and apply it to improve processes and solution design. Experience modelling productivity, headcount, storage requirements, and commercial impact.
- Advanced analytical skills, including strong Excel (formulas, modelling, automation), Power BI, AutoCad, WMS, TMS, Experience with Python and SQL is highly desirable for data processing, scenario modelling, and performance analysis.
- Ability to work with customers, internal teams, and 3PL providers to align on requirements and deliverables. Strong communication skills to present technical and commercial solutions to external customers.
- Skilled in organizing tasks, managing deadlines, and supporting multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
- Master ’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in warehouse operations, transportation, process engineering, or continuous improvement (preferably with a logistics provider or 3PL environment).
- Familiarity with lean principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Understanding of logistics commercial models and operational SLAs.
- Exposure to industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
