- Build sustainable and scalable audit and monitoring reporting frameworks
- Assess, optimize, standardize, and streamline audit and monitoring processes, with an emphasis on automation and/or worldwide parity wherever possible
- Liaise with partners and stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Finance, Tax, etc.) on strategical short/medium/long term process initiatives to help improve trade compliance
- Coordinate with off-shore audit execution teams to identify further data / automation needs or opportunities
- Stay informed about Trade technologies, and propose corresponding optimization strategies
- Meet individual and team goals with the highest standards and diligence
- Lead and/or participate in special projects and/or assignments as necessary
In this role, no two days will be exactly the same, but regular activities will include:
- Defining new, or optimizing existing audit and monitoring reporting frameworks
- Identifying automation strategies, and securing approval from cross-functional leaders
- Working with key partners and stakeholders on short to long-term solutions that improve trade audit speed and quality
- Collaborating with technical teams to improve scalability, efficiency, relevancy, and accuracy of monitoring programs
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
- Basic Trade knowledge (import, export, customs, etc.)
- Risk management knowledge, including handling of confidential data
- Excellent knowledge of Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the timePreferred Qualifications- Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience using lean process improvement, six sigma methodologies, or related performance metrics/process improvements to increase efficiency within processes, forecasting, planning, optimization, or logistics
- Trade expertise
