This position will be based out of an Amazon corporate office in Luxembourg, and requires the ability to travel periodically.GTS' operations span across all over Europe, with compliance at the forefront. GTS Risk & Monitoring is looking for a high-judgment individual to join us in a new team as a Trade Compliance Program Manager to build and maintain compliance monitoring frameworks.We are looking for an individual with Trade and data/automation knowledge, who can apply their expertise to: 1) develop audit and monitoring reporting frameworks across different business lanes, 2) operate cross-functionally to identify process optimization and automation opportunities, 3) build data and reporting standards, and 4) generate efficiencies and deliver saving repurposing strategies to key stakeholders and partners, such as ORC leadership, Trade Legal, Trade Ops, Supply Chain, Finance, and Trade Regulatory Engagement. The successful candidate will have exceptional organization skills, including cross-functionally, as well as strong data and tech-driven mindset and capabilities, but also excellent soft skills that enable trustworthy relationships with stakeholders and partners.   • Build sustainable and scalable audit and monitoring reporting frameworks
  • Assess, optimize, standardize, and streamline audit and monitoring processes, with an emphasis on automation and/or worldwide parity wherever possible
  • Liaise with partners and stakeholders (e.g., Legal, Finance, Tax, etc.) on strategical short/medium/long term process initiatives to help improve trade compliance
  • Coordinate with off-shore audit execution teams to identify further data / automation needs or opportunities
  • Stay informed about Trade technologies, and propose corresponding optimization strategies
  • Meet individual and team goals with the highest standards and diligence
  • Lead and/or participate in special projects and/or assignments as necessary
A day in the life
In this role, no two days will be exactly the same, but regular activities will include:
  • Defining new, or optimizing existing audit and monitoring reporting frameworks
  • Identifying automation strategies, and securing approval from cross-functional leaders
  • Working with key partners and stakeholders on short to long-term solutions that improve trade audit speed and quality
  • Collaborating with technical teams to improve scalability, efficiency, relevancy, and accuracy of monitoring programs
Basic Qualifications- Experience in data analytics or automation
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
- Basic Trade knowledge (import, export, customs, etc.)
- Risk management knowledge, including handling of confidential data
- Excellent knowledge of Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the timePreferred Qualifications- Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience using lean process improvement, six sigma methodologies, or related performance metrics/process improvements to increase efficiency within processes, forecasting, planning, optimization, or logistics
- Trade expertise
