- Drafting and negotiating core and ancillary finance documents,
- Structuring and implementing Luxembourg law security packages under the financial collateral regime,
- Managing conditions precedent and closings
- Advising on financing related regulatory queries,
- Interacting with service providers and clients on closings and queries.
- You successfully passed an academic degree in law, ideally completed by an LL.M degree. An additional, a specialized Master's degree or a business management degree (HEC, ESCP, IEP, ESSEC, etc.) would be an asset;
- Qualified lawyer, admitted to List I, List II or List IV of the Luxembourg Bar;
- 2-5 years of experience in transactional banking and finance within a global law firm or a large local law firm;
- Experience of drafting and negotiating finance documents, legal opinions and agreements in a private practice environment.
- Fluency in English and French is a must. German would be a major asset;
- Proactive, a fast learner, and a team-player who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels;
- A commercial approach;
- Able to demonstrate the entrepreneurial spirit and energy necessary to assist in winning and executing complicated and high profile finance transactions; and the ability to understand and respond effectively to client needs.
