- Fund administration supervision (including Luxembourg SPVs, when applicable):
- Review of the SPVs periodical accounting / annual accounts under Lux gaap produced by Fund Administrator;
- Review of the periodical financial statements of the Funds under Lux gaap / IFRS (Net Asset Value, fees, performance fees …) produced by Fund Administrator;
- Review of periodical VAT returns, when applicable;
- Review of income tax returns, when applicable;
- Review and coordination of administrative and legal documents prepared by external providers / external law firms (share registers, board packages, board minutes, proxies, contracts, capital call notices etc.);
- Attendance to board meetings of the SPVs, presentation to the board of managers, when applicable;
- Coordination of contribution to preparation of quarterly investor reporting when applicable;
- Treatment of ad-hoc investor requests;
- Attendance to audit meetings;
- Be part of ad hoc projects when required.
- The Financial Controller will be involved in transactions relating to the Fund/SPVs, as well as liquidation of SPVs’. Tasks covers the following:
- Coordination with external parties (deal team, lawyers, auditors, etc.);
- Review of contractual documentation linked to the Fund/SPV/target acquisition structure;
- Assistance with the preparation/review of funds flows;
- Review of payment instructions;
- Review of tax structure papers prepared by external tax advisors and attendance to structuring calls when applicable;
- Implementation of and follow-up on recommendations in tax structure papers, legal step plans, etc.
- Master in Tax, Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent diploma;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in alternative assets’ fund accounting/reporting (Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Debt...)
- Experience and knowledge in accounting / tax / legal / regulatory requirements for Luxembourg-based Funds and SPVs;
- Ability to interact with variety of partners globally and to build partnerships of trust;
- Solid analytical skills and ability to rapidly comprehend complex issues;
- Ability to deliver sound opinion and to present solutions with impact;
- Project Management skills to focus on key aspects in the face of complexity and time constraints;
- Willingness to learn new things and to look into a broad range of topics;
- Goal oriented, self-driven flexible;
- Fluent in English (oral and written); the knowledge of French or Italian is considered as a plus.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written: Ability to detail technical information in order to produce concise and effective presentations;
