Flight Dispatcher (JR)

• Provide crew with optimized computerized flight plans and the most up to date documentation (weather, notams, runway analysis…) to allow them to conduct safe and efficient flight operations.
• Brief flight crews on all operational matters to allow them to conduct safe and efficient flight operations.
• Provide (file or delay) authorities and air traffic control agencies with the most up to date ATC flight plans Ensure ATC Slots are managed, and routes updated.
• Maintain continuous telephone, fax, email, and radio (company frequency) watch to ensure a 24/7 support for Cargolux flight crew and operations.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and operational procedure during the flight planning and operational phases to conduct the flight operations in accordance with national and international applicable legislation (i.e., overflight permit).
• Maintain up to date awareness of the actual and forecast weather situation and the serviceability of essential enroute and terminal facilities affecting the route being flown, to have a safe and efficient operations.
• Maintain close communication with other IACC inner circle stakeholders.
• Perform specific or extra operational or administrative tasks assigned by the Head of Flight Dispatch to have the most optimum working environment.

• Flight dispatcher license is preferred (FAA) or prior working experience as Flight Dispatcher
• Proven track record for 3-5 years in a similar size company.

• Full-time, permanent position based in the Cargolux Headquarters
• 24/7/365 shifts required
• Juniority of the position is dependent on the candidate's profile
• A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
• The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
• The position qualifies as safety-sensitive personnel as per EU Regulation 965/2012. The successful candidate will have to be tested for psychoactive substances prior to the start of the employment
