To strengthen our oversight framework, Generali Investments Luxembourg S.A. is hiring an Oversight of Delegates Officer.As a member of GIL, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities, overseeing/monitoring amongst others the company’s Delegates, such as Investment Managers, Distributors, Central Administrators, and Third-Party providers in adherence to Luxembourg regulation.You will be part of the Oversight of Delegates Team currently composed of three experienced business members and placed under the responsibility of the CEO and Conducting Officer of the Company in charge of the function.Main responsibilities:
  • Application of the initial and periodic control framework defined for Delegates and Third-Party providers through the coordination of appropriate Due Diligences in line with CSSF circulars 18/698, 22/806 and DORA, EMIR Refit regulation
  • Coordination of a comprehensive ongoing monitoring framework on Delegates and Third-Party providers through the implementation and analysis of periodic KPIs
  • Organization of onsite and virtual due diligence and drafting of comprehensive minutes and assessment reports
  • Collaboration with internal subject experts for Due Diligence, Service and KPIs reviews
  • Implementation and regular maintenance of Service Level Agreements/Operating Memoranda with Delegates and Third-Party providers
  • Coordination/organization of regular Service Reviews Meetings with the Delegates/Third-Party providers to discuss service quality and performance issues and follow-up actions
  • Participation in ad-hoc company projects from an oversight and regulatory perspective
  • Ensuring close cooperation with internal stakeholders such as Compliance, Legal, Fund Administration and Risk Management to support the effective execution of oversight activities
  • Managing the day-to-day operational aspects of activities with consistency, accountability and proactive approach
  • Maintenance of activity logs and the Register of Information (DORA template)
  • Ensuring oversight and compliance with EMIR Refit requirements, including the monitoring of delegated reporting obligations and the implementation of data quality controls
The completion of the above tasks requires a strong cooperation with other Generali’s departments and entities as well as other financial institutions and clients.Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Fund Industry
  • At least 3/5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Skills in decision making, judgement, analysis, monitoring, time management and vision
  • Experience in dealing with regulation (UCITS, AIFMD, 18/698, 22/806, DORA, EMIR Refit)
  • Excellent modelling skills in MS Excel as well as skills in Power Point and Word
  • Well-developed organizational skills, flexibility, ability to deal with different departments within the organizational framework
  • Fluent in English; Italian, French or German would be a plus
