Through its dual mission of teaching and research, the FSTM seeks to generate and disseminate knowledge and train new generations of responsible citizens in order to better understand, explain and advance society and environment we live in.Your role
- Conduct research related to the topics of the Signal Transduction Laboratory
- Participation in teaching activities at Bachelor and Master level
- (Co-) Supervision of master and PhD theses is highly encouraged
- A PhD in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or BioEngineering (or equivalent)
- Solid background in Biochemistry, Molecular/Cell Biology, and/or BioEngineering documented by peer-reviewed publications
- Skills in a broad range of methods in the fields of Biochemistry, Molecular/Cell Biology, and/or BioEngineering
- Experience with fluidics devices, 3D printed devices, 3D cell culture models and bioinformatics/computational biology (e.g., R, Python) is an asset
- Team player
- Proficient knowledge in English is mandatory
