Job DescriptionOur clieny, a european institution is seeking a Transaction analyst for a temporary contract to join its Commercial Banks division, supporting the front office team for debt products. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in SME lending, credit risk, and data analysis to contribute to impactful guarantee transactions in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.Role Overview :Reporting to senior members of the front office team, the Transaction Analyst will play a key role in supporting the origination, execution, and monitoring of
portfolio guarantee transactions. The role also involves enhancing data tools and analytics to support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities :
  • Assist in the origination and execution of portfolio guarantee transactions, including risk assessment, approval processes, and post-signature monitoring.
  • Maintain and enhance data analytics tools, supporting the team with portfolio composition analysis, data management, automation, and reporting.
  • Identify trends and anomalies in data to support business insights and strategic decisions.
  • Design and implement data-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support for special projects and initiatives.
Your Profile :
  • University degree (Master's preferred) in Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration, Sciences, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in investment, credit risk, guarantees, or data analysis.
  • Proven experience in data analytics, ideally within the SME lending sector.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Python, R, or Excel is a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
