Our people are at the heart of our business: putting clients first; delivering service excellence; working as one team; building lasting connections and embodying our values and purpose.Join our journey and discover what makes us the bright alternative.About the role:Reports to Financial Reporting ManagerThe purpose of this position is to carry out routine day-to-day accounting of fund structures under the direction of a Financial Reporting Manager.Key responsibilities:Bookkeep a complex range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures and liaise with clients and intermediaries as necessaryComplete all aspects of accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and ad-hoc investor queriesDeal with the completion of routine audit queriesPrepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation evidencing transactionsMaintain accurate records on eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules for all aspects of accountingDeal with the preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returnsAct as a mentor to junior staff under the supervision of senior staffSkills, knowledge, expertise:Relevant degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance (Bachelor or Master degree)3+ years of previous experience in Fund AccountingClient relationship skills and excellent communication skillsPrivate Equity experience is preferredInvestran experience is advtangeousA relevant professional qualification is beneficialComputer literacy skills are essentialWe will provide the training, both in house for relevant technical knowledge and also professional qualifications to enhance your professional development.
