RF Hardware EngineeriO Associates are currently partnered with a well-established organisation in the space sector, known for delivering high-reliability systems for satellite and deep space missions.They are seeking an RF Hardware Engineer to join a growing team in Luxembourg, working on advanced communications systems and RF payloads for next-generation space platforms. This is a hands-on role with technical ownership and involvement across the full product lifecycle.Key Responsibilities

Design and test microwave/RF hardware for space applications (K-/Ka-Band)
Take ownership of RF boards and modules from concept through to delivery
Develop and maintain technical documentation
Support project planning and timelines
Contribute to new project proposals and system concepts

Requirements

Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in RF/microwave hardware design
Experience with RF lab equipment (e.g. spectrum analysers, VNA)
Knowledge of hardware considerations such as thermal, mechanical, and radiation effects
Experience with high-power or solid-state amplifier design
Strong communication skills in English
Experience in the space or aerospace sector
Familiarity with industry standards (e.g. ECSS)
Experience with Altium Designer
Python knowledge
