System Engineer (m/f/d) in BissenOG Recruitment is your consulting agency for the direct placement of specialists and executives in Luxembourg and the entire border region. We support companies in filling demanding key positions – personally, discreetly and sustainably.On behalf of our renowned client with headquarters in Bissen (Luxembourg) we are looking for a System Engineer (m/f/d) for the automotive industry.The position will be filled directly and permanent with the client.Our client is an innovative, Luxembourg based high-tech company with several state-of-the-art divisions.Your tasks
  • Being the technical lead for diAerent disciplines and aligning them to achieve project milestones (software, hardware, testing, production)
  • Being the first point of contact with customers, defining and clarifying technical topics
  • Translating customer specifications into IEE system requirements
  • Carrying out system and performance modeling, identifying risks, defining solutions to mitigate the risk
  • Building system architecture and partitioning into subsystems
  • Leading product validation activities together with the testing department
  • Performing calculations, writing reports
  • Communicating constantly with team members
Your profile
  • Academic degree in electrical engineering, computer science, physics or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in an automotive environment
  • A good knowledge of the physics relating to capacitive measurement
  • Considerable know-how in electronics development (hardware and software)
  • The ability to identify technical risks
  • The ability to write clear documentation
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, DOORS and Matlab/ Simulink
  • Hands-on experience with functional safety analyses and cyber security
  • Knowledge of automotive SPICE processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written), German or French is considered an asset
