Job Category: Procurement, Purchasing, and Quality AssuranceJob Description:POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for a reliable, organized and detail-oriented Storekeeper (m/f/x) to manage the receipt, storage and distribution of merchandise within the hotel. The person in this role ensures that goods are received, checked, stored, labelled and delivered to the appropriate departments in a timely and accurate manner, while maintaining stock levels, cleanliness standards and food safety requirements where applicable.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive and stage merchandise by department.
Mark and label items appropriately for placement in the facility.
Deliver merchandise to the appropriate departments.
Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts.
Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
Notify the manager/supervisor of low stock levels in a timely manner.
Receive deliveries and verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency and quality.
Refuse damaged, unacceptable or incorrect items.
Date, label and rotate stock in line with company standards.
Store perishables properly and ensure correct stock rotation.
Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas.
Organise, clean and sanitize all storage areas, including refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment and drains where applicable.
Remove empty pallets, cardboard and waste and place them in the proper storage areas.
Handle spills promptly and maintain safe conditions in all storage areas.
Report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
Support the team in achieving common goals.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Previous experience in a storekeeping, stock, logistics, hotel operations or related environment is an asset.
No supervisory experience required.
Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Team spirit and a proactive approach.
Safety awareness and integrity.
LANGUAGE & WORK AUTHORIZATION
A good command of French and English is essential.
Luxembourgish and/or German would be considered an asset.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Luxembourg at the time of application.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis role involves regular manual handling and movement of goods within the hotel. It requires the ability to work safely in storage areas, including refrigerated areas where applicable, to handle deliveries, and to move stock using appropriate equipment. The role may also require standing and walking for extended periods, as well as using stairs or service ramps where necessary. Reasonable accommodation may be considered in line with applicable law.COMPENSATION
Salary range: 39K-42K gross annual. Final offer will depend on experience, qualifications and internal equity.
