- Lead (as PI) or contribute to (as team member) R&D activities in Life Cycle Assessment, in the framework of European and national research projects as well as collaborative/contract research projects with industrial partners;
- Lead the acquisition of European and national funding, contributing to highly competitive research proposals in the field of sustainability assessment.
- Co-author high-quality research articles in peer-reviewed international journals.
- Contribute to the generation of IP in the context of your research activities (e.g., patents, licenses).
- Attend international conferences.
- Proven experience in Life Cycle Assessment
- Previous experience in research project acquisition and management
- Proven experience in software supply chain tools like git and version control systems
- Proven experience in web application + REST API software development
- Previous experience in the LCA framework Brightway2
- Proven computational and programming skills (in particular in python)
- Proven organizational skills and interdisciplinary thinking, a problem-solving mind-set, and a strong team-working capability, but is also able to work in autonomy and creatively
- Knowledge of industrial ecology methodologies
- Proven experience in working in an interdisciplinary context
- Previous experience in EU proposals writing
- Flawless knowledge of English (both spoken and written) is required.
- Knowledge of German and/or French and/or Luxembourgish is considered as an asset.
