Fund Accountant / Controller - Senior Consultant

- Act as the main client contact, understanding their operating model and fostering long-term, trusted relationships.
- Coordinate and review:
- Annual accounts (LuxGAAP, IFRS, US GAAP)
- Management and financial reporting packages
- Other regulatory or statutory reporting as required by client operations
- Oversee fund controlling activities, including:
- Review of fee calculations (management fees, performance fees, carried interest/waterfall)
- NAV oversight, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Investor reporting coordination and validation
- Work closely with auditors, depositaries, AIFMs, administrators, and other stakeholders.
- Manage engagement economics: invoicing, quotations, workload planning, and timely resolution of queries.
- Coach, review, and guide junior colleagues; provide feedback and contribute to professional development within the team.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at digitalisation, process optimisation, and enhanced reporting quality.
- Excellent relationship-management skills and a client-service mindset.
- Strong analytical and interpretation skills related to financial and operational data.
- Ability to manage priorities, take ownership, and drive deliverables to completion.
- Ability to work independently while supporting and developing junior talent.
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in Fund Accounting, Fund Controlling, Audit, or related fields.
- Experience with Real Estate and/or Private Equity fund structures.
- Good knowledge of LuxGAAP; familiarity with IFRS and/or US GAAP is a strong asset.
- Professional accounting qualification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Capital activity (calls/distributions)
- Performance fee or waterfall calculations
- Investor reporting
- Fluency in English; French or another European language is an advantage.
- Experience working in a Big 4 or fund administrator.
