Full time/part time: Full TimeWe have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Luxembourg.This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Luxembourg fund industry, working with a variety of fund structures and financial instruments. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and teamwork.
You will work closely with clients, advisors, and auditors, ensuring seamless interaction and managing key financial processes such as SPV, and funds accounting, NAV calculations, VAT & tax returns, and periodic CSSF/BCL reporting.As part of this fast-paced environment, you'll assist in the preparation of the quarterly and year-end closings, liaising with investors, and assisting in board meetings.If you are someone who thrives on taking ownership, managing a diverse workload, and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere, we'd love to hear from you!About the roleIn this role, you will:
  • Handle the day-to-day administration, bookkeeping for various Luxembourg SPVs and funds;
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end closings including related NAV calculations (where required);
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and periodic reports;
  • Liaison and interaction with clients, client advisors, investors, auditors (dealing with audit queries) and any other third parties;
  • Assisting in the organization of board meetings and shareholders’ meetings;
  • Assisting in the preparation of VAT & Tax returns;
About you – essential requirements
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting, Audit or Economics (fresh graduated or maximum 2 years of experience);
  • Fluent in English (knowledge of French will be considered as an asset);
  • Have good knowledge on MS Office tools;
  • Ability to interact effectively (oral and written) with contacts both within and outside the company at all seniority levels;
  • You possess team spirit, have ability to interact effectively (oral and written) with others and prioritisation skills.
