About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Finance team, in the recently created Hospitality division of the Giorgetti group. Working across our diverse portfolio of hospitality, events, and cultural attractions, you will provide in-depth financial analysis and lead strategic financial planning initiatives that support key business decisions and drive performance.Key ResponsibilitiesInvestment Appraisal & Business DevelopmentConduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making on proposed projects and investmentsDevelop comprehensive business plans and financial models for new ventures, expansions, and strategic initiativesBuild and maintain DCF models and perform valuations for investment appraisal and portfolio managementBudgeting, Forecasting and PlanningPrepare detailed annual budgets for approved projects and existing operations, working with operational managers to establish realistic revenue targets, cost structures, and resource requirementsDevelop rolling forecasts to reflect changing business conditions and updated assumptions across hospitality, events, and museum operationsCreate comprehensive cash flow projections to support working capital management and investment planningMonitor capital expenditure against approved budgets and provide analysis on investment performancePerformance Monitoring & ReportingPrepare management reporting, board materials, and executive dashboards with insightful commentary on performanceDevelop and define key performance indicators for each business areaTrack KPIs and conduct variance analysis of actual performance against budgetMonitor operational costsOther ResponsibilitiesAct as a strategic business partner to operational leaders, collaborating closely to translate business strategies into detailed financial projections and providing ongoing financial support and insightsDrive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilitiesPerform ad-hoc financial analysis and research as required for strategic projectsRequirements5-8 years of relevant experience, ideally in an FP&A role in the hospitality sector or in Big 4 Corporate Finance/Transaction ServicesStrong technical skills in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and DCF analysisSolid accounting knowledge and ability to interpret financial statements (actual bookkeeping not required)Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial planning software and business intelligence systems is a plusExcellent analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesStrong communication skills with ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholdersSolid financial technical skills are essential; experience in hospitality, events, leisure, or cultural sectors constitutes a significant advantageKnowledge of financial consolidation processes is an advantage though not essential
