The PDC Production Designer must identify if there are aspects outside of guidelines and escalate those items to the appropriate technical experts to ensure projects are technically successful. The PDC Production Designer is a technical resource to the business, responsible for understanding the requirements of stack design and the processes required to make them. Further the PDC Designer will provide engineering quality work as part of the Order Fullfillment process by completing design execution while delivering high performance, reliable and cost effective designs on time. After an initial training period in our European Headquarters in Luxembourg, you will provide engineering support by completing design execution in order to ensure adherence to customer requirements and specifications. Responsibilities Design execution as per Product Specification Form (PSF) Conduct detail verification of prototyping designs for accuracy Ability to use UG templates to build design platfoms for assemblies and stack components Create engineering BOMs to release the project to purchasing and production control Provides shop floor support to manufacturing and PDC test lab. Ability to embrace the challenges with new product designs Working with Test Technician and Inspectors, troubleshooting mold tests and provide solutions Design Risk Mitigation including participation of facilitation of FMEA (Specials Engineering) Qualifications: You have a postsecondary Mechanical Engineering Degree, Diploma or equivalent. You have some experience in CAD applications and design drawings. Knowledge of Unigraphics or a 3D modeling software would be an asset. Additional language skills are considered an asset This role is temporary assignment for 6 months.
