Job DescriptionAs a Product Tax Manager, you will partner with the Head of Product Tax Compliance in ensuring an appropriate tax compliance of PATRIZIA’s Luxembourg funds and products. You will work across a mix of taxes, in particular corporate income tax, withholding tax, VAT and transfer pricing, further strengthening the management of all product-related Luxembourg tax matters within PATRIZIA. You will work to enhance quality of our tax compliance management and advise on PATRIZIA Luxembourg structures regarding product tax related queries.You will report directly to the Head of Product Tax Compliance and you will work closely with the portfolio management team in Luxembourg and the global tax structuring team.Your main responsibilities include:
  • Management of external tax advisors regarding all taxes of PARIZIA’s Luxembourg funds and their investments, including corporate tax, withholding tax, tax provisions as well as tax audits
  • Act as contact person and representative for the Luxembourg tax authorities
  • Providing support to the Head of Tax Compliance on product tax matters
  • Reviewing and monitoring changes in tax legislations and regulations
  • Providing tax advice to Luxembourg and specific international operating business units
  • Proactively identifying, and reporting tax risks
  • Supporting transfer pricing documentation/reporting regarding PATRIZIAs products
YOUR PROFILE:
  • You have at least 4 years of relevant working experience in corporate tax, withholding tax, VAT and transfer pricing (not all of these are required, but an appreciation of the tax areas that you are not specialized in is an asset)
  • You have a degree in accounting/tax or a related field and/ or Chartered Professional Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Advisor.
  • Experience in Luxembourg GAAP, Luxembourg tax system and working with Luxembourg tax authorities
  • Experience in other European taxes would be considered beneficial
  • You are familiar with the tax challenges within an international organization
  • Strong excel skills
  • Being a team player with “hands-on” mentality and by adopting a proactive approach towards day-to-day handling of tasks and projects
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are proactive, with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly, and feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • You possess team spirit, risk awareness and high integrity
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of German considered as an asset
