Task Responsibilities:
  • Produce pilot pairings and rosters in accordance with regulations and company policies considering fatigue risk management, efficiency, crew bids, operational robustness, training/checking requirements and publication deadlines;
  • Allocate yearly pilot vacation and vacation off-days in accordance with the approved vacation scheme and business needs;
  • Maintain assigned parts of the scheduling system databases;
  • Provide reports on crew utilization/efficiency and support resource planning;
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement on crew scheduling related matters and IT systems;
  • Plan pilot training and checking duties in accordance with the regulations and company policies
Essential Requirements For The Position:
  • Working knowledge of EASA FTL pilot scheduling regulations.
  • Airline system knowledge, specifically Aims and/or Jeppesen crew management systems would be an advantage.
  • Computer literacy including Excel and other Microsoft applications.
  • Ability and motivation to keep up to date with regulatory developments.
  • High sense of integrity and compliance. Possess good people and communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken) German and French will be considered as advantage.
  • Ideally previous work experience within a Crew Planning / Rostering / Crew Control department.
Working Conditions:
  • A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
  • Position based in Luxembourg.
  • Regular office hours.
  • Occasionally work outside the normal working schedule and / or working days may be required.
