- Oversee and supervise the day-to-day activities of the real estate and international client portfolio.
- Review and supervise the bookkeeping, annual accounts, corporate tax, and VAT returns prepared by your team.
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and controls.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and offer financial and tax guidance in collaboration with the international tax team.
- Conduct accounting and financial due diligence and assist international clients for specific projects in partnership with the international tax team.
- Provide guidance on technical accounting matters.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and implement necessary adjustments.
- Assist with financial planning and analysis as required.
- Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Fluency in English and French. Being skilled in additional languages, especially German, will be considered an advantage.
- Thorough understanding of fiduciary accounting and related regulations.
- Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
- You possess a robust understanding of accounting, Luxembourgish taxation, and corporate law.
- Experience with fund accounting is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced spreadsheet skills.
