Human Innovation Partners is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Accounting Manager in a Fiduciary company located in Luxembourg. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Responsibilities
  • Oversee and supervise the day-to-day activities of the real estate and international client portfolio.
  • Review and supervise the bookkeeping, annual accounts, corporate tax, and VAT returns prepared by your team.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, budgets, and other financial reports.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and controls.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and offer financial and tax guidance in collaboration with the international tax team.
  • Conduct accounting and financial due diligence and assist international clients for specific projects in partnership with the international tax team.
  • Provide guidance on technical accounting matters.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Assist with financial planning and analysis as required.
  • Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Fluency in English and French. Being skilled in additional languages, especially German, will be considered an advantage.
  • Thorough understanding of fiduciary accounting and related regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS).
  • You possess a robust understanding of accounting, Luxembourgish taxation, and corporate law.
  • Experience with fund accounting is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
