We are looking for an
Estimator (m/f/d)Are you passionate about commercial aspects of plant building projects? Are you fascinated by engineering and technology? Then come and join our team, work in a dynamic environment and inspire us with your professionalism, your preciseness and your pragmatic approach.As an Estimator, you are a part of the project core team and responsible for the technical/commercial part of a sales project. In your function, you work in close collaboration with the Technical Sales Manager and the engineering departments as well as with our supply chain and legal teams.Your main tasks:Define and collect the project costs related to engineering and equipment as well as any other project costs (including relevant risk contingencies)Support the preparation and optimization of the bill of quantities ensuring thorough completeness and accuracy throughout the processChallenge the estimated costs in defining cost savings and applying intelligent resourcesCheck the reliability of the overall costs and prices by comparing them with internal database referencesPrepare commercial offers for customers and make their follow-upCoordination and alignment of commercial topics with the regional sales teamsSupport the Technical Sales Manager in the definition of the commercial project set-up and during commercial & contractual negotiationsLead the development and maintenance of a cost and price reference databaseCoordinate the issuing of the requests for quotation in cooperation with our engineering and supply chain departments.What do we expect?Master’s degree in engineering or a significant equivalent experience in a similar positionAt least 5 years of experience in a comparable industryFluency in English and high-level communication skills in relation to customer and project teamFlexibility for international travel and collaboration with multinational teamsReadiness to take ownership and accountability for your projectsAutonomous and proactive work approach, characterized by strong organizational and coordination skills with a methodical work style.What do we offer?Interesting development possibilities in an international, innovative and dynamic companyLarge training measures and target-oriented feedbackAttractive remuneration packageFlexible working hours and entitlement to leave, which exceeds the minimum legal standardsExtra social security benefits like additional pension insurance, additional health and accident insurances.If accuracy combined with strong organizational and analytical skills are your strength and passion, then you are here at the right place.Paul Wurth is a leading industrial engineering firm with deep roots in Luxembourg, looking back at over 150 years of experience in serving the ironmaking industry.
