DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for an accomplished and analytical Senior Product Manager to join the EU Books Pricing team based in Luxembourg. As part of the team, you will help determine our roadmap, be an advocate for the customer and help define our decisions and strategy.The Senior Product Manager supports two critical functions that are at the heart of what makes Amazon reader's favorite choice around the world: 1) Pricing Strategy - working closely with the EU Books teams to help define, build and deliver pricing strategies, products and programs that build customer trust, and 2) Pricing Operations - ensuring the health of pricing inputs that support our pricing intelligence and pricing engines. The role is inherently cross-functional - you will have to work with a diverse team including Pricing, Product Management and Marketing, as well as stay closely connected to various global teams at Amazon to assist the delivery of the best pricing experience for customers.To be successful in this highly visible role, you should be able to work in a dynamic environment, think big and be comfortable navigating complexity and ambiguity. You should have strong business and communication skills, be comfortable analyzing data to provide data-driven recommendations, and be able to partner with stakeholders to help define key business questions and build solutions that answer them.   • Help define a roadmap of strategies and programs to delight customers and drive growth
  • Partner with other Pricing, Product, Marketing and technical teams to deliver complete solutions that support business needs
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including stakeholder management and communication of results, insights and recommendations
  • Develop and maintain pricing intelligence, enabling data-driven decision making by senior leaders
  • Help senior leaders make customer impacting decisions in real time
  • Support EU Books Pricing business reviews
  • Build and manage relationships with key senior stakeholders
  • Mentor other team members, help shape our culture, and bring knowledge to the team
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Luxembourg, LUXBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Science, Engineering, Economics or similar undergraduate degree
  • 5+ years of work experience in analytical roles such as Pricing, Program Management, Product Management, Consulting or similar
  • SQL and MS Excel fluency
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical concepts and technical teams
  • Experience building relationships in a complex organization
  • International or global work experience
  • Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Demonstrated ability to make prioritizing decisions
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • R, Python or Machine Learning basics are a plus
