They are opening the first position in Luxembourg, being the Statutory Reporting and Consolidation Manager.Your main responsibilities :Accounting :
- Cooperate with local accounting team in the daily bookkeeping
- Support for the daily management of the company.
- Compile and communicate corporate closing calendars
- Coordinate the receipt of local reporting and supporting schedules from subsidiaries
- Review data received for reasonableness and completeness
- Ensure the elimination of intercompany/interbranch activity in the consolidated financial statements and communicate out of balances to the appropriate people
- Manage consolidation entries and prepare the consolidated financial statements
- Perform high level review of group results
- Assist the integration of newly acquired companies.
- Serve as a key contact point related to the consolidation processes ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Participate as key stakeholder in all system-related activities such as changes to the global chart of accounts, reporting hierarchies, user access (security), consolidation mappings and other processes/controls
- Proactively contribute to the roll out of the new consolidation/reporting system.
- Prepare the Group interim reports (quarterly, half-year), the annual report and the related disclosures based on IFRS
- Prepare the Luxembourg annual report based on LUXGAAP for local tax purposes
- Prepare the English version of Group reports.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the current accounting and reporting frame, in compliance with Group accounting principles (IFRS), liaising with the local Finance Teams
- Update the Group chart of accounts, both at group level and at local level based on Reporting changes
- Recommend and assist in the implementation of improvements as appropriate, to simplify, standardize and streamline existing processes related to consolidation and reporting
- Support the local Teams in the relationships with the banks: KYC, banking compliance, opening of banking accounts.
- Availability to travel, if requested, for specific assignments.
- Minimum 6 years of experience within a reporting and consolidation position, ideally start of career in a Big 4 audit firm then in-house in a financial oriented company.
- Fluency in English, French and Italian
- Strong analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
