As a major player in Luxembourg's finance industry and as a signatory of the UN Principles of Responsible Banking, BIL is committed to handing over a responsible and sustainable bank to future generations.Integrated in our business enablers department in investment area, you will contribute to the development and enhancements in BIL investment products and in the success of the front office by supporting RMs/Advisors in the use and maintenance of the BIL Portfolio Management System. As Business analyst you will understand front needs, synthetize business requirements and understand the target solution by documenting features, stories and acceptance criteria in Agile projects aligned with the priorities given by the Product Owner.Your next challenge:
  • Support front office (Advisors, PM, RM, IFA) for investment activities related to the use of transactional tools: Triple'A and Be-Advised (EdgeLab).
  • Maintain data quality and control of the Portfolio Management System (PMS - Triple'A) and of the Advisory tool (portfolio model, asset allocation rules and investment guidelines update) and ensure reconciliation between the Core Banking System (CBS - T24) and Triple'A.
  • Maintenance of programs used for automated non-regression tests on Triple'A.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and Agile teams to understand business goals and objectives.
  • Define, analyze, and document user requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate meetings to gather and validate business requirements with several departments (Front Office, Operations, Compliance, Audit, …). Collaborate with architects, developers, and testers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct impact assessments and feasibility studies for proposed changes or enhancements.
  • Perform business process analysis and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure the necessary quality of the deliverables by performing Functional and Acceptance testing.
  • Implement and develop a risk scoring system for all products and services, enhancing the first line of defense.
Your skills:
  • Master's degree in Banking, Finance or Computer Science, or an equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the banking sector, or in a relevant position.
  • Fluency in French and English. Any other language is an asset.
  • Willing to combine business and technology with strong knowledge in VBA, SQL, Python
  • Good understanding of investment Products & Services, Data Control & Analysis, Business Process Improvement, Incident Management, Test Definition & Execution, Stakeholder Relationship Management, and Customer Experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Business Situation Analysis, Functional Requirements Definition & Management, and Methods & Tools.
  • Strong and committed team spirit.
  • Clear and structured communication skills, both oral and written and both technical and non-technical people.
  • Solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in Agile projects is an asset.
