A diverse and inclusive workforce is essential for sustainable value creation.Group HR works closely with the regions to define key priorities and policies to support business strategy.ArcelorMittal University - AMU is part of Group HR under the Global Resourcing, LD and Learning organization and the AMU Strategy must follow the overall company strategies and the people strategy.So, what will you do?As part of Group HR, you'll join a community of thinkers, makers and shapers all working together.MissionThe main mission of the Head of AMU revolves around designing, implementing, and overseeing learning initiatives within AM organization.Main accountabilitiesDeveloping Learning Strategy: The Head of AMU is responsible for developing a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This involves identifying learning needs, defining learning objectives, and determining the most effective methods for delivering learning experiences.Driving Organizational Learning Culture: to play a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization. This includes promoting a growth mindset, encouraging knowledge sharing, and recognizing and rewarding learning achievements.Designing Learning Programs: to design and oversees the development of learning programs and curriculum to address the organization's skill gaps and development needs. This may involve creating a mix of formal training programs, e-learning modules, workshops, mentoring, and coaching initiatives.Implementing Learning Technologies: to evaluate and implements learning technologies and platforms aligned with the Head of HR Digitalization to support the delivery of learning initiatives efficiently and effectively. This may include learning management systems (LMS), virtual classrooms, and other digital learning tools.Measuring Learning Impact: to establish metrics and measures to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of learning programs on individual and organizational performance. This involves tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing assessments, and gathering feedback from learners and stakeholders.Building Learning Partnerships: to collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, business leaders, and subject matter experts, to identify learning needs and align learning initiatives with business priorities. Additionally, he/she may establish partnerships with external vendors, educational institutions, and industry associations to access resources and expertise.Leading Learning Teams: to manage a team of learning professionals responsible for delivering learning solutions and supporting organizational development initiatives. This involves providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities for team members.Staying Abreast of Learning Trends: to keep abreast of emerging trends and best practices in learning and development, as well as changes in the business environment and industry regulations.   • Education/qualification: Master (University degree) / Subject: Human Resources, Training & Development
  • Min. 10 years of experience acquired in an industrial environment or experienced industrial manager
  • Experience on project & change management and/or general management
  • Experience in an international, cross-cultural environment and working with remote teams
  • Good command of HR platforms, HRIS and ability with reporting/data
  • Ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, other departments and within an Ecosystem of providers to maximize performance, initiatives, problem solving, and results
  • Ability to lead change, challenge the status-quo and navigate during uncertain times.
  • Self-aware, people oriented and active listening
  • Flexible, proactive, organizational savvy, intrapreneur
  • Good strategic thinking
  • Very strong communication skills with facilitation and stage experience
  • Languages: English (advanced) , any other language will be considered as a plus
