(Senior) Technician Wheels & Brake Shop

• Accomplish repairs and overhaul on aircraft wheels and brakes
• Inspect work done by other team members
• Release wheels and brakes to service.
• Maintain and operate the shop equipment/machines according to his training\
• Maintain/service shop tools and equipment
• Report any unsafe conditions or defects to his supervisor

• Secondary technical education (CATP, DAP or equivalent) or an apprenticeship as mechanic
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems
• Able to read manuals and diagrams.
• Willing to learn repairs and maintenance practices.
• Detail oriented and conscientious worker
• Team spirit and good communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English, any other language will be considered as an advantage
• Familiar with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

• The position holder is based in Luxembourg.
• The position demands a regular presence in the office and requires vacation and other absences to be planned so as to avoid conflicting with service needs.
• A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
• The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment.
• This position qualifies as a safety-sensitive personnel as per Cargolux policy on psychoactive substance abuses and is therefore falling under the EU Regulation 965/2012. Consequently, the Company doctor will perform within the scope of the initial medical check, a psychoactive substance test.
• The title of the position depends on the seniority of the selected candidate.
