Job Description:Scope, mission and Responsibilities of the candidateAs part of the Energy Efficiency team, the candidate has to identify, develop, negotiate and implement energy efficiency projects across AM plants in Europe to reduce energy intensity and perform cost savings.Responsible:
  • To contribute to the pipeline of energy efficiency projects For European plants
  • To identify and assess profitability of new energy efficiency projects in the plants
  • Market intelligence, interaction with suppliers, plants, energy managers, operations.
  • To deploy typical energy efficiency projects on various technologies as per the roadmap
  • large Variable Speed Drives, steam production units, Cogenerations, Waste Heat Recovery, compressed air supply, Reactive Power Compensation, HVAC, moisture control.
  • To negotiate with suppliers to obtain best TCO conditions
  • To ensure implementation of projects by engaging with internal stakeholders including energy manager, department heads, finance, COOs and CEOs as the case may be in all the plants in Europe.
  • To participate to the regular meetings between the users/supplier in order to monitor the performance of the contracts and manage any potential claim.
  • To source new potential suppliers and negotiate the frame conditions.
Main characteristics:
  • Master's degree in engineering (preferred) / Economics
  • Languages: fluent in English, any other EU language is a benefit
  • Track records in project management and / or capex purchase
  • Good knowledge in energy domain
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Entrepreneurship with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Dynamic, persistent, working autonomously and taking initiative
  • Strong critical thinking/analytical skills. Ability to think systemically and solve problems effectively and efficiently
  • Able to make timely decisions and provide direction in accordance with business needs and objectives
  • Excellent communication and listening skills. Able to communicate effectively (both in written and verbal form), at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external customers, as well as fellow team members at all levels within a multi-cultural environment. Team player
  • Proficiency in Office Databases (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
