- Push the boundaries of semantic tech: Advise on state-of-the-art trends (triple stores, SPARQL optimization, semantic search, visualization, scalability, and security);
- Build & innovate: Develop technical specifications, prototypes, pilots, and robust systems—from concept to production;
- Engineer smarter systems: Design and execute migration strategies, implement ontologies in OWL, and create monitoring solutions;
- Champion open data: Define strategies that make data accessible, reusable, and impactful;
- Ensure trust & quality: Lead data testing, quality management, and troubleshooting to keep systems reliable;
- Empower others: Deliver training, presentations, and clear recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Secure continuity: Oversee smooth knowledge transfer and handover processes
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with 7 years of relevant experience;
- At least 4 years of experience in in a software development environment;
- At least 3 years of experience in RDF and RDF-S;
- At least 2 years of experience in OWL 2, RDF serialization formats (RDFa, Turtle, RDF/XML and JSON-LD), Triple stores (Virtuoso or equivalent) and SPARQL 1.0/1.1;
- At least 2 years of experience in Java (Java SE, Java EE, EJB, Applet, etc.) or Python;
- At least 2 years of experience in Linux;
- At least 2 years of experience in databases and querying(e.g. Oracle, SQL, Elastic Search, Mongo DB, Neo4j)
- At least 2 years of experience in Pellet, Apache Jena Reasoner, RDFLib/Saxon, SKOS and SKOS-XL;
- At least 1 year of experience in version control(e.g. SVN, Bitbucket) and collaborative tools(Jira, Confluence, MS Office 365);
- At least 1 year of experience in XML;
- At least 1 year of experience in AWS Cloud Computing services;
- At least 1 year of experience in Microsoft Windows 7 and higher;
- At least 1 year of experience in monitoring tools(ELK, Dynatrace);
- Excellent command of the English language (B2 – CEFR).
