Engineer IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

Task Responsibilities:The selected candidate will be expected to take on the following responsibilities:

Develop and maintain plans: design, implement, update IT BC&DRP to ensure their effectivity and alignment with business industry best practices
Risk assessment: conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to IT systems and infrastructure
Testing and drills: plan and execute regular testing and drills to ensure readiness and effectiveness
Incident Response: coordinate and manage the response to IT incidents and disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
Documentation: maintain detailed documentation of all IT business continuity and disaster recovery processes, plans, and activitie
Collaboration: work closely with IT teams, business units, and external partners to ensure comprehensive coverage and support for business continuity and disaster recovery efforts
Compliance: ensure all plans and activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and policies
Continuous Improvement: stay updated with the latest regulations, trends and technologies in business continuity and disaster recovery, and continuously improve plans and processes

Essential Requirements For The Position:

Technical diploma with focus in IT. A bachelor degree in computer science (or any other relevant field) would be an asset.
At least 3 years of experience in an IT with focus on BCP/DR.
Strong skills in IT network technologies, cloud technologies and resilience.
Good knowledge of IT systems and network infrastructure.
Understanding of network architecture and services.
Familiar with application monitoring concepts.
Willing to attend regular trainings and stay up-to-date with new technologies.
Fluent in English (spoken & written); any additional language will be considered a strong asset.
Good problem solving skills, analytical approach and research-oriented.

Comfortable working in a multicultural fast-pacing environment.

Working Conditions:

Permanent, full-time contract based in our HQ in Luxembourg.
Flexible working hours and a work from home policy.
Occasional travel may be required.
A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection.
