The position is to be filled as soon as possible.We are looking for an analytical, numbers-driven person who uses internal and external data to help the Sales Department improve its performance. Data must be collected, analyzed and, most importantly, interpreted in terms of our business context. The Sales Department requires actionable insights to facilitate fact-based decision-making. Depending on your professional experience, we will hire you for either a Senior Analyst or Analyst position.Main responsibilities:In your role as a (Senior) Analyst Sales, you will perform the following tasks:
- Analyze sales data for weekly/monthly reports on sales performance,
- Identify problems, deviations and interpret them correctly,
- Understand: on-top sales opportunities and challenge sales department forecasts & plans - based on historical data, trends, benchmarks, relations & proportions
- Create Reports: ad-hoc reporting and introduce new ones to support visibility and decision-making
- Conduct internal price simulations and support pricing strategies, as well as product/segment performance analysis
- Maintain administration of commercial agreements/approvals for audit purposes
- Work closely with Sales, Finance/Controlling and Marketing to align & streamline (optimize) existing processes and resources.
- Aggregate Sales Forecast information, create a report of expected orders for the next cut off period,
- Monitor/support the process of order collection and hep to ensure timely payment from our partners, to ensure smooth shipments,
- Create presentations for Sales & Marketing purposes,
- Support the Finance/Controlling department with month-end activities and cross-checks of master data in SAP (customers, suppliers, materials, prices and conditions).
- Completed a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar field of study,
- Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in a comparable role or in Controlling, preferably in the FMCG industry,
- Sound business acumen and Finance/Controlling understanding,
- Proven ability to interpret numbers in a business context,
- Strong analytical mind combined with KPI-driven thinking,
- Ability to work independently, in a structured manner and in a target-oriented way,
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills,
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel), SAP and database/BI tools,
- Intercultural competence: respecting and appreciating colleagues from different cultural backgrounds and hierarchical levels,
- Languages: Fluency in English and good knowledge of another foreign language (German would be a strong advantage).
