Treasury Operations Analyst (Internship)

a. Organise and prepare weekly batch of payment; follow-up payment execution
b. Prepare internal reporting
c. Balance bank accounts between corporate entities and various national cash-pools; management of deposits
d. Intercompany loan management
e. Monitor timely payment of interests and repayment of loans
f. Prepare and follow-up with internal and external documents (banks, suppliers, administrative forms, etc.)
- Be a key user of the Treasury Management System (TMS) for daily/weekly operations:
b. Validation of transaction set-up in the system (funding requests, FX, cash transfer, etc.) or generated via the bank statements (dividends, interests’ repayments, loans repayments, etc.)
c. Cash planning via the reporting tool
- Be a point of contact for all treasury-related questions coming from subsidiaries of the group:
b. Project management follow-up
- Contribute to all Treasury projects on a case-by-case basis (several projects are lead across the group):
b. Leverage your learning of the Luxembourg project to assist cash management tender offers for other regions – a Cash Management tender offer is led by the Group for LuxCo. Its finalization, as well as the implementation of the winning bank will require appropriate support from the Treasury Operations Analyst
c. The Group is preparing a new way of handling its FX transactions for which Luxembourg is going to be central. Indeed, the new entity dealing FX transactions (internal and external) will soon be set up in Luxembourg

Qualifications
Education: Student (or just graduated) in a Business School or Master’s Degree, with a major in Treasury/Finance.
Languages: Excellent English; French is a plus.
Personal skills: Attention to detail; Good organisational skills and ability to multitask; autonomous; curious; happy to challenge the status quo. Strong administrative, reporting, analytical and communication skills.
Technical knowledge/IT: A first internship in a cash management or financing position, or a strong background on cash management or financing topics required (cash pool, treasury systems, internal financing). Strong Excel skills.
Requirements
Starting dates: Immediate start
Contract period: 6 months, preferred one year (or 2 years for VIE)
Internship agreement from university for 6-months internship/gap year internships
