The recruitment agency of ManpowerGroup is recruiting for one of its clients, a global leader in the automotive industry, a CMM Engineer in a permanent position.Your main responsibilities:As a CMM Engineer, you will be responsible for measurement planning, programming, and operating CMM machines. You will also lead inspections, statistical analyses, and process improvements for future machines.Your main tasks will include:
  • Responsible for measurement planning and measurement parts with CMM
  • Programming and operating CMM machines, performing inspections and measurements
  • Creating CMM reports and statistical analyses
  • Managing and training inspection personnel on inspection methodologies
  • Developing and implementing new processes for future machines
  • Performing metrology of internal equipment (calibration plan, calibrating equipment, checking with suppliers)
  • Acting as the gauge administrator
Your profile:
  • Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar field
  • 8+ years of experience in industry, preferably in automotive
  • Fluency in English; French or German is a plus
  • Knowledge of LEAN methodology is appreciated
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Analytical skills and an approach to problem-solving
  • Knowledge of problem-solving tools
  • Leadership capacity
  • Knowledge of Minitab
