We advise international clients on cross border deals with the benefits of the Luxembourg broad range, business oriented legal and tax toolkit.Role PurposeInterns at DLA Piper are given real responsibilities, supporting our clients wherever they operate around the world. You will have the chance to learn through practical work and observation in a truly global firm, giving you an outstanding breadth of legal knowledge, as well as the practical skills that will stay with you for your entire career.You will also be fully involved in our pro bono and knowledge activities. You will have the opportunity to interact with other DLA Piper offices and experience our “One Team, No Borders” way of working, to improve and test your technical legal skills internationally.We are offering a 6-month Internship starting July 2026.This internship role is for a fixed term. It is not a Bar traineeship role.Key Areas of ResponsibilityOur team works on a wide variety of complex Banking, Finance, Regulatory and Restructuring issues. Your workload will be varied to develop a depth knowledge of the financial services and real estate sectors.Duties will include, inter alia:
  • Support to our team on Financial Services Regulatory matters;
  • Carrying out legal research on European and Luxembourg law;
  • Being involved in drafting the relevant documentation, liaising with, and taking instruction from, clients;
  • Attending client meetings and calls.
Skills and Experience
  • Currently pursuing a master's degree in law;
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills in English and French;
  • Commercially astute and keeps abreast of key legal and business news;
  • Personal commitment and team-player attitude.
