For businesses with a global outlook, our 4 key offerings are designed to support growth, no matter what their size: Business Banking/ Corporate Banking/ International services/ Products services.To support our local Accounting Service, we are looking for:(Senior) Accounting Officer (m/f)Your role:The Senior Acounting Officer will be involved in periodic BCL/CSSF reporting, statutory reporting, tax accounting (including transfer pricing).Main duties:· Perform controls and related reconciliations.· Maintain accounting records up-to-date.· Be responsible for part of regulatory reporting (CSSF & BCL).· Prepare and process year-end accounting procedures in cooperation with the auditors.· Prepare the short form report in Lux GAAP and the reconciliation to IFRS.· Manage tax accounting and tax returns, maintain tax records.· Handle the transfer pricing documentation for the company and its EU branches.· Improve and develop the risk control framework.· Coordinate with external and internal audit.· Maintain and develop product control activities for capital markets.· Continuously take part in the improvement of operational procedures and controls.· Be involved in ad hoc projects.Your profile:· Accounting qualification· Knowledge and experience with LUX GAAP and IFRS· Fluency in English, any other European language and/or Mandarin is an asset· Ability to communicate in a diverse environment· At least 3 years of experience in a similar position working for a corporate or commercial bank· Team player, who leads by example· Autonomy, pro-activity, respect of deadlines, drive to succeed, detail-oriented· Knowledge of derivatives and hedge accounting is considered a plus· Knowledge of (Luxembourg) tax law and regulatory environmentIf you are interested in joining a fast moving environment and take on a new challenge in your professional career, please send us your CV and motivation letter in English and we will get back to you shortly.
