These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Organisation & Digital, Risk and Tax departments.The role of the function is to be part of the Risk Management Function Team.Your roleThe mail objectives of the function are:
  • To help clients to produce different risk reports, e.g. market risk, liquidity risk and credit risk.
  • Perform dedicated analytical reviews and escalations to Head of Risk and Boards within dedicated reports.
  • Assist team with data organization and analytics and efficiently report key risk indicators and dashboards.
Key responsabilities:
  • Design and produce risk reporting tailored for traditional and alternative investment strategies such as private equity, real estate and hedge funds.
  • Prepare material to help the business development of the team, such as team presentations or external presentations.
  • Be part of a project team to provide support in fields such as organization, project management, operational tasks, process implementation or automation and data analytics.
  • Develop in-depth expertise on the regulatory framework relating to the asset management industry.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the funds under supervision, their investment processes and the risks imposed by their specific portfolio exposures.
  • Ensuring sound risk modelling, challenging and enhancing current risk solutions and evaluating/implementing external solutions.
  • Be a confident communicator, able to build positive relationships across the business internally and externally and commitment to contributing to a strong risk management culture within the firm.
  • Be able to interact under a fast paced and under pressure environment.
  • Professional qualifications such as FRM, CAIA or CFA is a plus.
Your profileTechnical skills:
  • Sound knowledge of VBA, Excel and quantitative modelling and demonstrate familiarity with data analysis through APIs/ SQL and Python (preferred) or R.
  • Knowledge of the legal and regulatory provisions applicable to the UCITS/AIF fund industry.
  • Sound knowledge of Financial Markets, Economics and Quantitative Finance Concepts
  • Intellectual curiosity and depth of skills enabling to perform ad hoc tasks and special projects.
