PURPOSE OF THE JOB
You will be in charge of the monthly reviews and preparation of financial reports.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Support monthly and yearly closing processes in close cooperation with the Head of Finance, i.e.:
- Review trial balances submitted by finance team;
- Manage the process linked to the revenues recognition;
- Support the preparation of group reporting packages and make proposals to enhance the process;
- Act as a point of contact for all LUX entities in relation with the group reconciliation process and requests;
- Maintain and enhance existing procedure in order to increase the reliability and efficiency of the closing processes.
- Support the finance team in identifying areas of improvement and drive the changes together with the Global Finance IT team;
- Support the Head of Finance in the implementation of new IT tools and related processes / procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or equivalent;
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar position (ideally, within the financial industry in Luxembourg);
- Experience in a big 4 Audit structure will be seen as a real plus;
- Fluent in English – French will be a plus;
- PC Literate (at least, be an expert user of Excel and have a good command of Word and Power Point).
