IT Security Engineer

• Design, implement, and manage IT security solutions, including firewalls, endpoint protection, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus, and encryption tools.
• Monitor systems, networks, and applications for security vulnerabilities and threats; respond to alerts and manage security incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability scans, patch management, and hardening of servers, workstations, and network devices.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and enforcing security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Participate in audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies or tools to improve detection, prevention, and response.
• Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Assist in ISO27001 deployment and certification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in IT security or infrastructure security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and system administration.
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, EDR/XDR, VPNs, NAC, DLP and Zero Trust solutions.
• Demonstrated expertise in key regulatory and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, GDPR). ISO27011 Lead Implementer certified would be considered as an asset.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluency in French and English. Any other language would be considered as an additional asset.
