We make sure we stay best-in-class by participating in research projects across Europe, collaborating with top universities and enterprises on AI, Data, and Cloud.Role overviewWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of integration flows, from design and development through to testing and ongoing support, with a focus on SWIFT MT/MX message processing. The role involves hands-on work with IBM ACE, ITX, and MQ to deliver robust system integrations and reliable message-exchange operations.RequirementsThe ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Analyse business and technical requirements related to integration interfaces and SWIFT flows.
Design, develop and deploy message flows using ACE & ITX.
Investigate and resolve production incidents, driving root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
Maintain clear documentation of integration solutions, configurations and deployment procedures.
Administer and support IBM ACE, ITX, IBM MQ and WSO2 Micro‑Integrator environments.
Work closely with middleware vendors to resolve issues.
Take part in failover and disaster recovery exercises.
Drive automation initiatives using Ansible and Azure DevOps.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

A university degree at a related field is mandatory.
5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM ACE / IBM Integration Bus, WebSphere, Message Broker, ITX, MQ and WSO2 Micro‑Integrator.

Solid understanding of SWIFT messaging standards (MT/MX) and financial message flows.
Proven experience with IBM MQ V9 and message-driven integration patterns.
Proficiency in writing DML and DDL queries across Oracle, Sybase and MongoDB.
Familiarity with Linux-based environments for deployment and operations.
Working knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tooling (Ansible, Azure DevOps pipelines).
Experience with web services and integration standards: XML (XMLNS, XSD, XPATH, JAXB), JSON/Swagger, SOAP & REST, WS-Security, TLS, JMS, and SAML & JWT authentication.
Strong communication skills in English.
Candidates must be EU citizens.
