- Conduct workshops with client officers and stakeholders.
- Elicit business requirements and translate them into functional (e.g. use cases, user stories, etc.) and non-functional specifications.
- Estimate project size using Function Points (FP).
- Contribute to system design and architecture tasks.
- Support the development team by clarifying requirements.
- Participate in functional testing.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Produce end-user documentation (e.g. user manuals).
- Develop training curriculum and conduct training sessions.
- Assist in project management, authoring of technical documentation, team coordination, and reporting.
- University degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT, in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of measuring the size and complexity of software using Function Point Analysis.
- Valid IFPUG - Certified Function Point Specialist (CFPS) certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Analytical thinking, with good presentation and collaboration skills.
- Familiar with the Agile development cycle of web applications (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, activity diagram, entity relationship model, etc.).
- Good knowledge of the MS Office suite and understanding of XML, SQL, HTML, and CSS technologies will form an asset.
