- Support the RC and, as part of the team, provide specialist advice across a wide range of legal, compliance, and regulatory topics to assist client-facing teams.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s internal control and risk management frameworks.
- Review investor KYC documentation during onboarding and on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with AML regulations.
- Establish and continuously improve compliance processes across the firm, including risk assessments, policies, procedures, and internal controls to meet legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Execute periodic controls as part of the Controls Monitoring Program, including KYC reviews, World-Check screening of open hits, and access control monitoring.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research, supporting the drafting of agreements, templates, guidance notes, and other compliance-related resources.
- Draft RC reports and reportings for annual and quarterly board meetings.
- Monitor regulatory updates, including the CSSF Newsletter, and assess their impact on internal processes and compliance obligations.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for internal audits and track the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, law, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CAMS, CFE, CRCM) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance roles within the financial services industry, with specific expertise in the Luxembourg regulatory environment.
- Strong knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory frameworks, including CSSF regulations, AML/KYC requirements, and corporate law.
- Excellent knowledge of the AML/TF regulatory environment.
- Good knowledge of relevant regulations and directives (e.g. AIFMD, MiFID II, GDPR, SFDR, FATCA/CRS, etc.).
- Knowledge of funds and Alternative Investment Funds (e.g. Private Equity, Real Estate, debt)
- Significant experience in internal control, compliance, or risk management, preferably within Luxembourg’s financial or corporate services sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, boards, and client-facing teams.
- Experience in drafting policies, procedures, and compliance reports.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Fluency in English, knowledge of French and other EU languages would be an advantage
