We look for researchers from diverse academic backgrounds to contribute to our projects in areas such as: Network Security, Information Assurance, Model-driven Security, Cloud Computing, Cryptography, Satellite Systems, Vehicular Networks, and ICT Services & Applications.Your roleThe PhD student will contribute to the European project AutHUMate by researching adaptive, human-centered interaction strategies for advanced driver assistance and automated driving systems. Based at SnT, the student will develop and evaluate driver-in-context models using multimodal data to assess driver readiness, trust, and appropriate system use. The PhD work will support AI-based adaptive communication and training concepts and include validation in simulator-based and real-world settings. The student will collaborate closely with academic and industrial partners, contribute to cross-work-package integration, and disseminate results through publications and project activities. The successful candidate will join the UBIX Research Group, led by Prof. Raphaël Frank.You will be required to perform the following tasks:
