- Arranging for, and/or the supervision of bank account opening, closing and periodic reviews, including an efficient and effective approach is taken on information gathering and communication, KYC/AML requirements, the designation of bank authorities/signatory powers, with proactive management over the provision of information and internal dashboard reporting of status
- Assistance with administration of banking platforms and management of 3rd party authentication tools
- Updating records of bank accounts maintained with an effective programme of recertification in accordance with approved delegations of authority and procedures
- Collaborating efficiently and effectively with 3rd party service providers across Europe (including property managers, fund and corporate administrators, custodians, and banks), including managing the onboarding and coordination of their treasury activities (account maintenance) with other stakeholders
- Maintenance of accurate authorised signatory list and bank mandates/users of various banking platforms
- Retaining flexibility to initiate payments on an exceptional basis in accordance with our business continuity plans implementation
- Supervision of risk mitigant processes including call back procedures
- Assist the Manager to develop, implement and maintain operational process documentation, policies and procedures
- Keeps close communication and strong relationship with internal and external areas, ensuring the correct implementation of cash processing standards
- Depositary and custodial oversight
- Collaborating with internal and external parties and carrying out tasks designed to ensure depositary and custodian relationships are proactively and effectively managed
- Transactional
- Transactional support in relation to acquisitions, dispositions and (re)financings in Europe especially with regards to treasury aspects
- Collaboration and support
- Ensuring information submitted to the governing committees/bodies of the managed funds/fund SPVs are both complete and neutral, and decisions taken are implemented
- Complying with local policies and procedures, supporting the strong operating risk, governance and control framework in place to meet all regulatory and statutory obligations
- Strong academic background: relevant degree level required in business/economics or similar
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience (e.g. fund manager, service provider, bank or audit/consulting firm)
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, efficient, decisive and self-motivated with the requisite personal time management and communication / negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt
- interested in process improvement, proposing new ideas and willing to develop new skills
- Competence in excel and with other Microsoft Office applications
