Are you?What you'll doWithin the Procurement function, as Principal Supply Chain Management (SCM) Process Excellence Manager you will be accountable for delivering world-class process performance and unmatched user experience mitigating risk along our global supply chain processes. As the owner of “Source to Contract” processes, you will proactively design and continuously improve SCM processes, tools, and policies and ensure these work internationally while accommodating local needs and providing rapid tactical and strategic responses to business challenges.You will partner with the Supply Chain senior management, and other key stakeholders across the business to develop a Process and Tooling Strategy Roadmap and transfer the strategic vision into execution and measurable results. It will act as a catalyst for the successful adoption of Key Supply Chain processes and will define and execute “needle-moving” process improvements that result in efficiencies, effectiveness, and standardization.As a Principal SCM Process Excellence Manager, you will proactively maintain an external industry perspective through benchmarking and best practice networks, thus engaging with industry peers and other relevant players in the market to identify best practices and implement them across the process landscape. Also, by keeping abreast of market trends and developments, you will anticipate change and proactively mitigate risk by finding innovative, automated solutions that are scalable and boost performance to ensure SCM continues to exceed world-class standards across its whole process landscape.You will:
  • Define the process mission, vision, tactics, goals, objectives, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and the measures that are aligned with the organization's strategies (including global SCM policies).
  • Monitor and manage process performance and compliance against KPIs and health versus plans.
  • Manage interventions where there is a gap between world-class and our current process maturity.
  • Synchronize process improvement plans with global policy owners, and other process owners within the value chain and other interfacing processes.
  • Ensure appropriate process designs, including the correct business requirements.
  • Define and sponsor business process change and capability investments, which continuously increase the maturity of the process.
  • Engage in major transformation programs to represent SCM processes (e.g. legal entity mergers, upgrades, or peripheral finance).
  • Proactively maintain an external industry perspective through benchmarking and best practice networks.
Who you are
  • Procurement Experience: A solid track record in a similar role with extensive experience and knowledge of Procurement. Good understanding of relevant product suites (including but not limited to Ariba Sourcing, Low code/no code platforms, and contract management).
  • Business Transformation Experience: Extensive SAP/ERP experience in implementations, methodologies, and Business Transformation Programmes across multiple countries including cultural and behavioral change to embed standard global processes and policies.
  • Influencing Skills: Strong influencing skills and ability to build lasting relationships across multiple layers in the organization.
  • Management Skills: Strong leadership skills and an ownership mindset with the desire to innovate and question the status quo. Strong stakeholder focus and business acumen. Well-versed in managing offshore teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills including personal presentation and written communication.
  • Education: A university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or similar.
  • Motivation: A self-starter with high levels of self-motivation, energy, and initiative.
