As an Intern - Clearstream Credit Risk Monitoring you will have the excellent opportunity to explore risk topics related to credit and to gain valuable practical experience in an innovative company. Risk management is an elementary component of the management and control of Deutsche Börse Group. The main purpose of the Risk Management area is to monitor the overall risk profile so that developments that could jeopardize the interests of Clearstream can be identified and suitable countermeasures can be deployed. You will be actively taking part in our process, while we are offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks.

Tasks/ responsibilities
  • Generate analyses and documents in regards to credit risk management
  • Support the identification of credit risks and breaches
  • Understand and participate in the monitoring processes (daily, weekly and monthly) and ongoing projects (e.g. systems enhancements testing)
  • Help improve the current credit risk monitoring processes and the documentation through automation or optimization of the tasks workflows
  • Documents management and administrative tasks
Qualifications/ required skills
  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree programme (e.g. Business, Finance, Economics) with a recognized institution and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months
  • Your academic background is in one of the following areas: computer science (software development or user interface), mathematics, statistics, ergonomics or economics and you are interested in risk management
  • Team player and excellent communication and problem solving skills, ability to work independently and attention to detail
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (in particular MS Excel, MS Access and MS Power Point)
  • Knowledge of Visual Basics, SQL, Python would constitute a plus
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
