The Tax Team is a part of State Street Bank International GmbH, Luxembourg Branch. The team members are the key contacts between State Street clients, tax advisors (e.g. for the compilation of the Austrian, Swiss, UK and US Tax Reporting), and the local administrations (e.g. for the quarterly Subscription Tax declarations, the annual VAT declarations under the simplified regime for the Luxembourgish domiciled Funds).As Tax Analyst for Investor and Fund Tax Services, you will:Focus on controlling and oversighting the on-going tax figures calculation (German, Belgian, Italian taxes)Interfere with State Street operation teams (Fund Accounting, Client Service Management, Financial Reporting, Regulator and Domiciliary Teams)Liaise with Tax Advisors and the Luxembourgish Tax AdministrationsFollow up on tax changes and clients wishesProvide support for the implementation of the regulatory changes (e.g. ESG with some tax benefits granted in case of investments in sustainable assets)Participate to the integration of the new businesses.What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleGood verbal and written communication skills.Good organizational and time management skills.Ability to work on own initiative to accomplish tasks.Ability to work in a team environment.Strong numerical skills.Ability to work under pressureEducation & Preferred QualificationsFinance related educational degree – Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy, Economics, International Business, Private Equity and Investment Management.Candidate must have some financial knowledge of funds (equities, bonds, derivatives).Fluent in English- French and/or German is a plus.Ability to work with Microsoft Office products, in particular MS ExcelAn expected experience of 2 years in the same position or in accountingAbout State StreetWhat we do.
