- You work either independently or as part of a team on audit assignments, evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls in accordance with Group Audit Methodology and the established risk assessment framework.
- The audit fieldwork is executed by you in line with the agreed audit approach, e.g. documenting Process Flows, identifying key risks and testing of key controls to determine whether these controls are properly designed and are operating effectively.
- In accordance with divisional standards, you document your work results within agreed budgets and timelines and act as challenger to clients in the development of remediation plans and during the issue closure process.
- You proactively keep abreast of pertinent industry, regulatory and business practices, while developing and maintaining a professional network with colleagues, stakeholders, and relevant support areas.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in business administration, economics and/or science from an accredited college or university (or equivalent).
- Experience in the financial industry and/or awareness of the risks and regulatory requirements including knowledge of auditing standards and concepts.
- Strong communication skills, communicating with clarity, both orally and in writing, in a logical order and structured approach. Fluent English both verbally and in writing, proficiency in a second language such as German or French would be an advantage.
- Highly motivated with the ability to multi-task and remain organised in a fast-paced environment.
- Good analytical, problem solving, relationship management and presentation skills combined with the ability to work in virtual, global teams in a matrix organization.
- Open and pro-active mindset towards change and to familiarise yourself with new fields of expertise/topics.
- Certifications as CIA, CISA or equivalent qualification in the areas of auditing, project management or process-/quality management would be an advantage.
