Adveez for talentsAdveez for talents is a Luxembourg based Talent Identification and Executive Search Consultancy and has been selected to fulfil this mandate.The client companyOur client is one of the European leaders in asset management and is an independent group operating from several offices including Luxembourg, Paris and London.A challenging opportunity has arisen for a talented Data Analyst with a strong background in fund data and document dissemination to join their highly experienced and professional teams in Luxembourg City.Your missionYou will be based in Luxembourg City (Glacis) on a full-time permanent basis.Your main responsibilities will be to ensure high quality service delivery and client (internal & external) satisfaction regarding the accuracy and completeness of the investment fund data and documents in the firm's internal system and in all market data provider databases by:
  • Liaising with all business teams regarding the fund lifecycle (launch, update, close)
  • Building and maintaining an accurate and up-to-date the internal investment fund database
  • Ongoing development of automated quality checks
  • Controlling and validating the internal investment fund database
  • Proactively working with external data providers to ensure accuracy and completeness of their systems concerning: 1/Fund static and dynamic data and 2/All types of fund documents such as prospectus, Priip-Kid, fact sheet, product sheet, annual report and coordination of the launch of new document types
  • Performing periodic data quality checks on all external market data provider databases and taking appropriate action to identify long-term improvement solutions to reduce recurring issues
  • Coordinating incident and problem management
  • Maintaining rigorous, up-to-date documentation of all processes
  • Working with other departments to define and implement data standards and best practices
  • Identifying and contributing to process improvement initiatives;
  • Participating actively to projects by assisting the Chief Data Officer on the following topics:
o Centralized Data Management: Develop a unified data framework, ensuring governance and lifecycle management with Data Owners.
o Project Support and Advocacy: Aid data-centric projects, promote better data management, and provide guidance on Fund information within the organization.
o Data Governance Enhancement: Elevate data governance maturity through education, compliance, and support for Data Owners and Stewards in operational improvements.Qualifications & Experience
  • Master’s degree in financial markets or IT
  • Fluent in English, French being a strong asset
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Significant experience in Asset Management in a fund data management role
  • Good understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and fund lifecycle
  • Experience in business analysis, with exposure to fund data management and data visualization
  • Ability to express functional specifications and interact with architecture and IT, carrying out and specifying data processing activities (analysis, modelling, cleansing, mapping, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel)
  • At least intermediate proficiency with SQL
  • Any data-oriented language is a plus
