Your Mission
  • System administration of MS SQL databases platforms;
  • You are responsible to perform MS SQL database installation and configuration, health checks, backups/recovery and change management;
  • Responsible for problems and incidents solving, and related changes;
  • Troubleshoots issues with database instances and elimination of causes through systematic problem management practices;
  • First and second level support for Oracle and other RDBMS (SQL Server);
  • Assist in maintaining and improving Oracle platform;
  • You show respect for rules, quality, KPI, security baselines and system policies.
Your Profile
  • Min 5 years in the Database domain specially as Microsoft SQL Server DBA.
  • Relevant university degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology;
  • Strong understanding of database structures, principles, and practices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2014/2016/2017/2019.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server installation, configuration, pacthing and database back-up/recovery
  • Knowledge with Windows server, Secutity delegation, Storage components.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL Server HADR Solution, Data Replication, SSIS and SSRS.
  • Expert experience in platform monitoring, detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
  • You are a strong communicator and good team player
  • Experience with ITIL and IT Service management will be appreciated
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and French
