- Developing of projects from concept to completion;
- Drawing of the electrical plans using computer-assisted engineering and design software (ePLAN);
- Designing, developing, and maintaining electrical control systems and equipment and supervising their execution;
- Developing and programming the installations’ remote accessibility;
- Estimating material, construction, and labor costs as well as project timescales;
- Testing and commissioning of installations and systems, analysis of data;
- Identifying and resolving electrical problems in equipment and systems, and developing solutions for maintenance and repairs;
- Overseeing the manufacturing process of electrical equipment and systems, ensuring quality control and adherence to design specifications;
- Conducting tests on electrical equipment and systems to ensure they meet performance and safety standards;
- Securing the projects’ compliance with electrical and construction safety regulations;
- Frequent optimization of processes to ensure the highest level of quality, efficiency, and safety;
- Collaborating with the Process and the Software Engineers in house and on the field to offer the best customer experience.
- University degree in Electronics, Electrotechnics or Automation;
- Strong experience in using design software and tools for creating electrical schematics and layouts (proven experience in control cabinets and industrial schematics design, - ideally for automated installations, water treatment or industrial systems with complex measurement and control equipment and remote access);
- Programming the systems’ PLCs in accordance to the P&ID and the logic diagram of the installation, would be a strong asset;
- Strong/Expert knowledge in ePLAN;
- Fluent in English; German or French would be an asset;
- Ability to analyze and solve complex electrical problems;
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Autonomous self-starter with a strong sense of planning and organization;
- Business centric approach to R&D and keen for innovation;
- Hands-on attitude, conceptual and out-of-the box thinking;
- Good team player, problem solver and attention to detail;
- Well-structured and organized, proactive and resourceful.
