Banking & Finance Lawyer – International Law Firm, Stable TeamMy client is a well-established international law firm with a strong presence in Luxembourg, recognized for the quality and technical depth of its Banking & Finance practice. The Luxembourg office plays an active role within the firm’s international network and is regularly involved in high-value cross-border transactions.The Banking & Finance team is composed of two Partners supported by several Associates with complementary backgrounds, allowing for efficient allocation of work and a genuinely collective approach to transactions. The activity is experiencing strong and sustained growth, driven by a steady flow of instruction and increasing client demand, which explains the current expansion of the team.Despite this growth, the firm places strong importance on maintaining a true team culture, favoring collaboration, knowledge sharing and working in small groups rather than isolated file management. Lawyers benefit from direct exposure to Partners and are involved throughout the entire lifecycle of transactions, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the matters handled.In this context, the firm is looking to recruit a Banking & Finance Lawyer with at least 4 years of experience, eager to join a growing team while evolving in a structured and demanding environment.Your Responsibilities | Banking – Finance – Transactions – Advisory
  • Advise on a broad range of financing transactions, including corporate financing, acquisition financing and refinancings.
  • Draft, review and negotiate banking and finance documentation (loan agreements, security packages, intercreditor agreements).
  • Work on cross-border transactions, in close coordination with teams based in other jurisdictions.
  • Play an active role in the structuring and execution of transactions through closing.
  • Work closely with Partners and Associates within a team-oriented set-up.
Profile and Career Path | Banking – Finance – Transactions – Advisory
  • At least 4 years of experience as a Banking & Finance Lawyer, acquired within a law firm in Luxembourg.
  • Fluent English and French are mandatory; German are considered strong assets.
  • Solid understanding of financing structures and related legal documentation.
  • Ability to manage matters autonomously while valuing teamwork and collective delivery.
  • Motivation to evolve within a growing practice with a long-term perspective.
